West Bromwich: Full-Height Picture-Frame Panelling & TV Feature Wall

This new high-end extension was already beautifully finished, but the large walls needed something to give the room character and pull everything together. The client shared a few inspiration photos and ideas for the look they had in mind, which we worked with and adapted to suit the proportions and layout of the space. Full-height picture-frame wall panelling was the answer. We designed the panels around the TV wall and carried the same detail through the room and up the staircase, giving the whole extension the finished, bespoke look it was missing.

Careful setting-out, clean mitres and a smooth painted finish are what make this style work. The finished result adds detail and character without making the room feel busy.

Whitchurch Staircase & Hallway Wall Panelling

Picture-frame panelling fitted to follow the staircase angle in this Whitchurch home.

This Whitchurch project transformed a plain staircase and hallway with picture-frame wall panelling. The stair frames were set out to follow the pitch of the staircase, then the same style was continued through the hallway so the two spaces read as one scheme.

Stafford Staircase: Carrying Half-Wall Panelling All the Way Up

Staircases are one of the trickiest places to panel — and one of the most rewarding. Nothing on a stair wall is square: every frame has to follow the rake of the stairs, and the angled cuts have to line up perfectly, because any error is the first thing you see from the front door.

For this Stafford home, we fitted picture-frame half-wall panelling up the staircase, with each frame set out and cut to match the pitch of the stairs, then filled, caulked and painted to a smooth, seamless finish.

The hallway and stairs are usually the most overlooked space in the house, yet they're the first thing anyone sees when they walk in. Panelling them turns that space into a proper feature — and sets the tone for the rest of the home.

Stafford Living Room: From Plain Magnolia to a Proper Feature Wall

This Stafford living room is in a new build home, and had plain magnolia walls throughout, unchanged since the family moved in. After seeing wall panelling trending on TikTok, they knew it was exactly what the room needed — they found us and got in touch for a quote.

We fitted half-wall, picture-frame style panelling along the lower half of the room, finished in white to contrast against a soft grey upper wall, with a dado rail to tie it in with the skirting. It was filled, caulked and painted to a smooth, seamless finish.

A few styling touches — a plant and fresh flowers on the coffee table — finished the look.

Same furniture, same layout, completely different room. It's completely transformed the space — the kind of change that makes a house finally feel like a proper home, not just somewhere you live. They've got a hot tub and new decking out the back, but it's the wall panelling guests ask about first. Even trick-or-treaters' parents have politely complimented it at the door, after spotting it through the window.
