Full Wall Panelling

Full wall panelling brings shape and character to an entire wall, from skirting to ceiling. At Tribeca Interiors, we design and fit bespoke picture-frame moulding and decorative feature walls to suit the proportions of your room. It's a popular choice for living rooms, TV walls, bedrooms and hallways where you want an elegant, built-in look rather than a plain painted surface.

What is full wall panelling?

Rather than stopping at dado height, full-height wall panelling extends up the wall. Carefully spaced mouldings create framed shapes, with the layout planned around the room's width, ceiling height, doors, sockets and any television or fireplace. The mouldings are prepared and finished so the detail feels part of the room.

Full-height panelling for TV feature walls

A large television can dominate a living room. Full-wall picture-frame panelling introduces balance and detail around the screen, helping the TV sit comfortably within the design. We plan the frame spacing to work with the TV position and existing wall features, rather than fitting a standard-size kit.

These photographs show a completed West Bromwich living room with white, full-height picture-frame panelling around a wall-mounted TV. The design continues along the wall, while the subtle moulding detail contrasts with the dark TV screen and warm herringbone floor. Work-in-progress photographs show the careful setting out and finishing.

Where full-wall panelling works well

  • Living rooms and media walls: a considered feature around a wall-mounted TV.
  • Dining rooms: full-height framed detail that adds architectural character.
  • Bedrooms: a feature behind a bed or across the whole wall.
  • Hallways and staircases: a coordinated look that can flow between spaces.

How we plan and fit your panelling

  1. Discuss your idea: share photographs of your wall and a few inspiration pictures.
  2. Measure and set out: we plan the panel sizes, spacing and positions around existing features.
  3. Fit and prepare: mouldings are installed, joints filled and edges finished.
  4. Agree the finish: preparation and painting are included as set out in your written quote.

Yes. The moulding layout can be designed around the TV position so the finished wall looks balanced. Any electrical or TV fitting requirements should be discussed separately when planning the work.

Can it be painted in any colour?

Full-height picture-frame panelling works in light or dark colours. We'll discuss your preferred finish and confirm painting details in the quote.

How much does full wall panelling cost?

It depends on the wall measurements, number and style of frames, preparation and whether painting is included. Send us a photograph and approximate dimensions for a tailored, no-obligation quote.
